Role Overview
Korn Ferry is partnering with privately held fast growing SaaS client to recruit an Assistant Director of Human Resources. The Assistant Director of Human Resources will lead the HR function in a hands-on role, driving the people strategy that fuels rapid growth. This role will own every aspect of HR from KPIs, culture, and employee engagement to talent development, HR compliance, and more making a real impact every day. The ideal candidate thrives on coaching and developing first-time sales leaders, building high-performing teams, and shaping a culture where people excel.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
- Drive employee retention and reduce voluntary turnover.
- Boost employee engagement and gather positive performance feedback.
- Execute compensation and performance review cycles on time.
- Develop a scalable HR infrastructure that supports growth and efficiency.
- Lead, develop, and scale the HR team, growing from two to three or more.
- Partner with leadership to ensure HR programs support business goals.
- Communicate HR initiatives across the organization effectively.
- Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Manage unemployment claims, including responses, hearings, and documentation.
- Administer employee Leaves of Absence (LOA), ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Oversee severance processes in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Lead the performance management process, including goal setting and coaching.
- Develop and manage Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) to support employee success.
- Execute termination processes, ensuring consistency and legal compliance.
- Champion engagement, development, and retention across the organization.
- Drive programs to enhance morale and build a high-performance culture.
- Lead conflict resolution and complex employee relations matters.
- Manage annual review cycles to maintain competitive pay practices.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs end-to-end.
- Create training programs to support and develop first-time sales managers and leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience of progressive HR leadership (HRBP, HR Manager, HR Director, or similar)
- Proven track record of designing and implementing global learning strategies and programs, including at the hourly level.
- Must have work with the SaaS or similar technology industry, no exceptions.
- Has worked for a company with between 150-500 employees that is also around the $100M revenue mark.
