The Role:
We’re hiring an experienced Sales Director to take our growth to the next level. This is a senior commercial leadership role, focused on winning enterprise-level contracts with major brands. You’ll be responsible for building and executing the sales strategy, hunting new opportunities, refining our pitch, and closing deals.
You’ll work directly with the founder on high-stakes pitches, but also take full ownership of building pipeline, running a lean but aggressive sales function, and growing a junior sales team beneath you. You’ll also help manage and close inbound leads, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
This role is for someone entrepreneurial, driven, and relentless—a proven agency sales leader who thrives under urgency, knows how to win big accounts, and is ready to make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities:
- Own the sales strategy for Indexed with a focus on enterprise client acquisition.
- Build, manage, and aggressively grow the pipeline across the US, UK, Europe, and Middle East.
- Refine our sales messaging, pitch decks, and storytelling to resonate with senior decision-makers.
- Lead and deliver pitches alongside the founder, closing six- and seven-figure deals.
- Hire, train, and manage junior sales team members—running them with urgency and accountability.
- Take ownership of inbound leads, ensuring fast, high-quality follow-up and conversion.
- Be HubSpot-native: manage pipelines, flows, and reporting to ensure a best-in-class sales process.
- Experiment with creative approaches to find and win clients (events, partnerships, outbound plays).
- Consistently hit targets and drive significant top-line growth for the agency.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven track record of selling agency contracts to enterprise brands.
- Deep understanding of agency sales cycles and how to close large, complex deals.
- Strong commercial instincts: able to build strategy and execute hands-on.
- Skilled in storytelling, messaging, and building compelling pitch narratives.
- Confident presenter, comfortable pitching alongside a founder to senior stakeholders.
- HubSpot-native: you know how to run a sales function from within the platform.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: creative, resourceful, hungry to grow, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience hiring and leading junior sales team members.
