🧩 The Role:
Website Design & Development Lead
We’re seeking a talented Website Designer/Developer to create and manage our official company website and support the development of our early app design concepts
.You will shape our brand identity, digital experience, and user engagement, ensuring our platform reflects the innovation behind Scooter Your Way
You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO and other founding members to bring creative concepts to life and help position our company for successful funding and launch
Key Responsibilities
• Design and build the Scooter Your Way website using modern web tools (Webflow, WordPress, React, or similar)
. • Develop a visually engaging, responsive, and user-friendly site aligned with our brand vision
. • Collaborate on app design and UX/UI concepts for cross-platform consistency
. • Integrate core website features such as investor pages, client contact forms, and product updates
. • Optimize for SEO, performance, and accessibility
. • Bring forward creative ideas that make our digital presence distinct and impactful
Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a creative, motivated designer/developer who thrives in early-stage environments and enjoys building from scratch
. • Experience: 3+ years in web design and front-end or full-stack development
. • Technical Skills: Proficient in Webflow, WordPress, React, or similar platforms
. • Design Tools: Skilled in Figma, Adobe XD, or comparable UI/UX tools
. • Creative Vision: You bring fresh, original ideas and a clean design aesthetic
. • Startup Mindset: You’re adaptable, proactive, and comfortable in fast-moving environments
. • Collaborative: You value teamwork, open communication, and shared goals
Compensation, Hours & Growth
• Hours: ~10 hours per week (40 hours per month) during pre-funding phase
. • Payback: All hours contributed will be tracked and paid back in full once funding is secured
. • Post-Funding Salary: $50,000–$100,000 per year, based on experience and contribution
. • Growth Phase: Role transitions to full-time (40+ hours per week) with expanded responsibilities and benefits after funding
