Your Role: HCL Unica Developer
We are seeking a skilled HCL Unica Developer with hands-on experience in enterprise marketing automation to join our growing team. This role involves working with one of the largest telecom enterprises in Europe on high-impact projects that drive customer engagement and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain marketing campaigns using HCL Unica
(Campaign, Interact, Deliver, Plan, Optimize, Journey).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate marketing requirements into technical workflows.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for audience segmentation and reporting.
- Integrate Unica with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Java, or scripting languages.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Unica campaign execution and configuration.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including workflows and integration processes.
- Support data integration with customer data platforms, warehouses, and ETL pipelines.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with HCL Unica (Campaign, Interact, or other modules).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, or equivalent).
- Experience with Java / J2EE or scripting (Python, Shell, JavaScript) for custom integration.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and system-to-system integrations.
- Solid understanding of marketing campaign management, data-driven customer engagement, and digital marketing processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities in remote environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with large-scale telecom, banking, or retail projects.
Knowledge of ETL/data integration tools and customer data platforms.
Exposure to other marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign) for cross-technology understanding.
Familiarity with Agile/DevOps practices for enterprise delivery.
