As one of the leading Regional Coordination Centre (RCCs), we and our partners, provide integrated services to 16 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) and their control centers in 12 European countries. Our network security assessment and capacity calculation procedures, play an incremental role in securing the operational security of the European power system every hour of the day, around the clock.

This is what your day will look like
- Design and maintain the enterprise data architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals, technology strategy and enterprise architecture principles.
- Deliver baseline data architecture for current and future projects (data models, data flow diagrams, data entity architecture artefacts)
- Participate to the review of existing data architecture artifacts delivered by the vendor and suggest improvement where necessary.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance, data quality, and metadata management standards.
- Guide the selection and implementation of data technologies, tools, and platforms.
- Support the development of a scalable and secure data management platform.
- Provide architectural oversight and mentorship to data engineers and analysts for the development of data pipelines.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to inform architectural decisions.
You come with
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering in a relevant field
- 5+ years of professional experience in data architecture, data modelling, and data analytics strategy.
- Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Deep understanding of data platform concepts: data warehouse, lakehouse (deltalake, Spark/Apache Iceberg), virtualisation
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools as well as with data cataloguing, lineage and metadata management tools.
- Experience with advanced analytics tools like Airflow, dbt, pySpark
- Background in data engineering or software engineering is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
