What does Constructer do? 

Constructer is an AI and LLM pre-seed startup that provides SaaS to construction companies and other stakeholders who handle large infrastructure projects. Such projects often involve multiple teams from different organisations, which makes it difficult to manage large projects. Under-informed and slow decisions lead to delays and higher-than-planned project costs. Constructer helps project teams by providing an accurate state of the project in real-time, helping teams make effective decisions, and deliver projects on time and on budget. 


Job Description 

In this role, you will work closely with the founders and head of product development to architect the organisation’s flagship product, called Constructer, and the company website. 

In developing Constructer, the role involves building a platform that offers administrative and dashboarding functionalities. Along with usual responsibilities, the person in will contribute to establish organisation-level guidelines to ensure the development of a consistent product in the future. These guidelines should also ensure development of the company website is inline with the product in terms of design choices. 


We are looking for somebody passionate about programming. We prioritise an ambitious and collaborative attitude more than anything else.   • Hosting: Vercel, Google Cloud 
  • Extras: Supabase, AI Integrations (OpenAI, LlamaIndex, Pytorch) 


What you will do 

  • Architect an end-to-end pipeline for an AI/LLM driven web application. 
  • Work closely with the founders and head of product development on product direction and technical strategy. 
  • Develop and maintain full-stack web applications with a focus on performance, scalability and supporting AI/LLM related functionalities. 
  • Design performant database schemas to support current and future functionalities, and ensure data security. 
  • Build responsive, data-driven UIs using React-based frameworks. 
  • Work with complex business logic implemented in node-backend or SQL. 
  • Help shape the architecture, developer workflow, and early team culture. 


You will fit right in if you have 

  • Strong communication skills in English
  • 5+ years of experience in building full-stack applications. 
  • Excellent team collaboration skills. 
  • Capability to lead and work independently. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or a related field. 
  • Fluent in technologies like React, Next.js, Node.js, Express and Postgres. 
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus. 
  • An appetite for keeping up to date with the latest technologies to ensure our platform is innovative and fresh.
