About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive iOS Developer to join our team on a fully remote basis within the United Kingdom. This is a contract role lasting between 9 to 12 months, offering an exciting opportunity to work on critical projects at the intersection of mobile technology and secure financial solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, capable of managing projects independently from inception to delivery, ensuring the development of high-quality, secure, and innovative mobile applications. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate iOS solutions with banking systems, AI/ML technologies, and the Microsoft Stack, contributing to the development of cutting-edge fintech products.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate a combination of technical expertise and practical experience, including:
- Proficiency in native iOS development using Swift and Objective-C, or extensive experience with modern Swift frameworks such as SwiftUI and the iOS SDK.
- Experience working within fintech or banking environments, with a strong understanding of security protocols, compliance standards, and secure application development.
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Stack, including .NET, Azure cloud services, or Power Platform, to facilitate seamless integration across platforms.
- Knowledge of AI/ML technologies, particularly in integrating NLP or recommendation systems into mobile applications.
- Ability to independently manage technical projects, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid European work permit is required to be eligible for this role.
Responsibilities
The iOS Developer will be responsible for end-to-end project management and delivery, including but not limited to:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable native iOS applications that meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate iOS solutions with banking systems, AI/ML components, and Microsoft technologies.
- Implementing security best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive financial data.
- Participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high-quality standards.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members when necessary.
- Staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the development process.
