We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a dedicated cybersecurity team. In this back-end focused role, you will be the driving force behind the web services and APIs that power our enterprise identity and access management solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the crucial integrations that connect our IBM security stack with other applications. Design, develop, and support back-end REST and SOAP web services primarily using Java.
Build and maintain API interfaces for the IBM Security Verify Governance platform.
Occasionally work on components related to single sign-on (SSO), including SAML and OIDC tokens.
Support and enhance existing APIs, services, and forms within the security ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
Senior-level experience as a back-end software engineer with Java as your primary language.
Extensive experience building and consuming RESTful and/or SOAP-based web services.
Proven experience developing API integrations for enterprise security tools, particularly in the identity and access management (IAM) domain.
Must be located on the U.S. East Coast and be willing and able to travel for a final, on-site interview.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Python.
Familiarity with SSO protocols such as SAML or OIDC.
