Description
EIS is looking for a
Director of Automation Testingwith great desire to learn new practices and technologies while working on the insurance products engineering. The Senior Test Automation Engineer will participate in the test automation processes development/improvement and will automate test scenarios for a huge number of business features, and contribute into the automation framework development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage automation initiatives, including setting up infrastructure at project inception.
- Manage automation projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Oversee and propose improvements to existing automation frameworks.
- Ensure clear and prompt reporting on a build/release status for all stakeholders.
- Review automated tests, test scripts and test suits implemented by other testers and provide feedback.
- Review manual tests that are subject for automation and provide feedback to the manual QA team, including providing requirements.
- Present automation framework capabilities and testing strategy to customers and partners.
- Requirements and time constraint estimation.
- Perform complex task decomposition into subtasks.
- Evaluate and implement new automation technologies and tools to improve processes.
- Oversee and mentor a team of automation engineers, including review of work and creation of training materials.
- Conduct technical interviews and assess candidates’ automated testing skills. Participate or lead team activities.
- Direct supervision of approximately 5-10 Automation Testers.
- Various Worksites—position may allow for remote work; position may involve relocation to anticipated and unanticipated client worksites throughout the United States.
Skills Knowledge And Expertise
- REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or closely related.
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: At least FIVE (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or at least FIVE (5) years of progressively responsible experience with the following:
- Management of at least five Automation Testers
- SDLC and testing methodologies
- Web-application automation tools, including Selenium WebDriver
- REST API testing using Jersey & Jackson libraries
- Main automation design patterns (page object)
- TestNG
- Java 8+
- Spring Framework
- EIS Suite
