GhostRanch Communications is a creative agency that focuses on the art for storytelling. We work closely with B2B product marketers, c-level executives, event teams, and founders. The clients we support are often tasked with creating critical messaging and visuals, then packing it up into high-value assets and tools to help their teams drive revenue. In many cases, our clients do not have access to an in-house team for dedicated design and narrative support. They often lean on GhostRanch to be their partner in supporting visual storytelling, narrative development and strategic product marketing services.
Job Summary:
The Senior Presentation Designer leads and inspires the creative process, producing high-quality designs that captivate and engage clients’ target audiences. As a seasoned visual storyteller, you excel in design, art direction, and production, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role relies on exceptional communication skills to enable effective collaboration across teams and with clients. This is a full-time, remote position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communication- Written and verbal communication comes easily to you, updating the team and clients on projects. Presents design work professionally and effectively.
- Self-motivated- Own many projects from end to end, directly leading clients. Proactive, never needing to be nudged to take the next move in moving a project forward.
- Responsive- Quick, written and verbal communication a must, never allowing a feeling of "radio silence”; closes all client communications quickly.
- Collaboration- Works closely with other designers regularly, and takes our clients ideas to heart.
- Efficient- Hit the ask with little thrashing, often with nothing but praise from clients upon first review. Prolific in coming up with new looks. Conducts live working sessions, even with clients and teammates watching your screen, as you put rough ideas together for quick buy-in.
- Great listener- Ask the right questions and take the client’s responses to heart and solves their real problems; catch every detail the client requests and asks the question NOT being asked, and translate those details in a dynamic, interesting, visual way and delivers a top shelf design that doesn’t feel like "just another PowerPoint."
- Scrappy & resourceful- A problem solver who can get started on a project, pushing things forward even when we don't have all of the assets or information.
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of creative design projects across various mediums, including print, digital, and branding.
- Collaborate closely with clients, account managers, and cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and requirements.
- Provide artistic direction and guidance to junior designers, nurturing their growth and fostering a collaborative creative environment.
- Develop innovative design concepts that align with clients' brand identities and communication goals.
- Produce visually compelling graphics, layouts, and visual elements that effectively communicate client messages.
- Present design concepts to clients and internal stakeholders, explaining the rationale behind design decisions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our work remains cutting-edge.
- Ensure that design projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients to gather feedback and incorporate changes into design concepts.
- Contribute to new business development efforts by participating in client pitches and proposal creation.
- Travel occasionally for networking and generating new business.
- Attend annual onsite retreats.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Google Slides and Keynote, Figma
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior designers.
- Ability to balance creative expression with strategic thinking and business objectives.
- Excellent project management and time management skills.
Education & Experience:
- 5-10 years design experience with at least 2 years in a Senior Designer role.
Position Requirements:
- Location: Fully Remote (US Based)
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Hours: 30-40 hours per week
- Applicants located MST or PST preferred but flexible for the right candidate
- Travel Required: No travel required
- Work Type: Full Time
- Annual Salary: $60,000-$80,000
- Must be willing to conduct oneself in accordance with Company’s Core Values
