GhostRanch Communications is a creative agency that focuses on the art for storytelling. We work closely with B2B product marketers, c-level executives, event teams, and founders. The clients we support are often tasked with creating critical messaging and visuals, then packing it up into high-value assets and tools to help their teams drive revenue. In many cases, our clients do not have access to an in-house team for dedicated design and narrative support. They often lean on GhostRanch to be their partner in supporting visual storytelling, narrative development and strategic product marketing services.
Job Summary:
The Designer brings a strong portfolio, creative curiosity, and a passion for translating ideas into impactful visuals. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn complex concepts and data into compelling presentation designs that inform and inspire. You’re skilled at balancing creativity with clarity, ensuring every design strengthens client communication and storytelling. This is a full-time, remote position
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create visually compelling and dynamic presentations that effectively communicate key messages and data.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into clear and concise visual representations.
- Design PowerPoint templates, slides, and graphics that align with our brand identity and design standards.
- Incorporate storytelling techniques and visual narratives to enhance the presentation's effectiveness.
- Ensure that presentations are engaging, cohesive, and visually appealing, maintaining consistency in design elements.
- Edit and format content, including text, images, charts, and multimedia elements.
- Collaborates with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality presentations.
- Stay updated with design trends, presentation software, and tools to enhance design capabilities.
- Travel occasionally for networking and generating new business.
- Attend annual onsite retreats.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Presentation Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of presentation design work.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote along with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Strong design skills, including a keen eye for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and data into clear and concise visuals.
- Attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy in design and content.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creativity and innovation in approaching presentation design challenges.

Required Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrated time management skills for individual projects.
- Ability to work on / conceptualize more strategic requests.
- Ability to design directly in slideware without porting in from Illustrator / PS.
- Demonstrate an ability to produce work that hits the mark.
- High attention to detail: Makes it to QA with all requested changes made.
- High proficiency in slideware / design programs.
- Trello communication ready for client email delivery.
- Ability to build a template / modify existing templates.
- Able to break the job down into digestible check points.
- Honed design exploration skills / ability to develop new looks.
Education & Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience as a Presentation Designer, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) - preferred but not required
Position Requirements:
- Location: Fully Remote (US Based)
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Hours: 30-40 hours per week
- Applicants located MST or PST preferred but flexible for the right candidate
- Travel Required: No travel required
- Work Type: Full Time
- Annual Salary: $50,000-$60,000
- Must be willing to conduct oneself in accordance with Company’s Core Values
