Salary
Key information:
- 23 000 – 27 500 PLN net/month – pure B2B contract
- 20 000 – 24 000 PLN net/month – B2B contract (days off included)
- 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Polish time / CET) remaining 4 hours flexible
- Fluency in English (min. C1);
- proficiency in Python and FastAPI for building RESTful services (OpenAPI, auth, middleware);
- strong experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization, migrations);
- proficiency in React and TypeScript, with solid HTML/CSS skills (responsive layouts, accessibility);
- familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for web apps (linting, testing, build and release automation);
- comfortable with Git-based workflows and modern development practices (code review, formatting, static typing);
- solid debugging and performance tuning skills across database, API, and frontend layers;
- experience building and maintaining production web applications and platforms.
- demonstrated ability to take features from design through implementation, testing, and deployment;
- experience collaborating with frontend, backend, and product teams on cross-functional projects;
- working in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
- high communication skills;
- eager to learn and share knowledge;
- willing to travel if necessary (conferences, coworking events, etc.).
- hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for local development and deployment (Helm/ArgoCD a plus);
- experience with caching/queues (e.g., Redis) and background jobs;
- familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks for web systems (logs, metrics, dashboards, alerts);
- exposure to security best practices (OWASP, CSRF/CORS, secrets management) and rollback strategies.

- design, build, and maintain scalable web infrastructure using FastAPI and PostgreSQL, ensuring robust API versioning, migrations, and deployment workflows across multiple environments;
- collaborate with frontend and backend teams to deliver production-ready APIs, UI components, and system integrations based on technical requirements;
- drive automation and system reliability by implementing CI/CD pipelines, test coverage (unit, integration, E2E), monitoring tools, and alerting systems;
- optimize system performance and cost by profiling bottlenecks across database, APIs, and React-based UI; implement caching strategies and efficient resource usage in cloud or hybrid setups;
- produce and maintain clear technical documentation, including API specs, coding standards, development workflows, migration guides, and troubleshooting runbooks.
