As a Product Manager II in Microsoft Digital - A3P (AI, Assistance and Automations platforms) organization, you will drive product management for latest and greatest technology platforms involving Microsoft Copilot Chat and Agents, driving latest feature experiences, user engagement and early insights and tracking Product Key Performance Indicators. This position is based at the Redmond campus, with 3 days per week work in the office and 2 days per week work from home. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities
- As a Product Manager, your functions will include defining the vision based on end user and Microsoft needs, driving user experience improvements as Microsoft first customer for products, creating new feature requests from user insights, evaluate analytics and usage and proposing capabilities to increase user satisfaction and increase product adoption and usage.
- You will work across multiple feature areas, define or influence the long-term vision and strategy for the Product and AI platforms based on a deep understanding of customer and employee needs, market and user research, the competitive landscape, and Microsoft’s business goals and strategy. You will create the vision and strategy into a product roadmap. You will create features & user stories to convey the big picture. You will leverage a deep understanding of the product architecture to design integrated scenarios.
- You will collaborate with multiple organizations (e.g., Business Planning, Finance, Support, Admins, Platforms and products, Customers, Product Marketing) to identify user experience needs and drive improvements. You will communicate product strategy to internal and external customers and builds consensus through multiple methods (e.g., conference presentations, collaboration with partner organizations).
- You will drive feedback gathered from internal usage in Microsoft to product partner teams such as Power Platform team, influence the product roadmap and co-design new capabilities, balancing short-term and long-term investments. Prioritize features based on business, customer impact and tenant demands.
- You will ensure product updates comply with relevant regulations, policies and tenant requirements, and work with the security and product teams to solve security and compliance needs
- You will define and execute launch, adoption and change management strategies for new governance & security product features, including user communication campaigns and training material/documentation creation
- You will independently contribute to identifying Microsoft’s product unmet or unknown needs and market opportunities for enhancements or development of multiple feature areas (e.g., product, service) via quantitative (e.g., usage, telemetry) and qualitative analyses (e.g., customer usage, various listening systems, feedback channels of market and industry trends), looks for patterns in the data across a portfolio, and scopes the impact and prioritization of a problem
- You will influence and engage with cross-functional internal partners, external partners, including early adopting customers, senior leadership, and other key stakeholders to gather input and garner support for product/service vision, strategy, and roadmap for multiple feature areas.
- You will partner with others (e.g., Software Engineering [SWE], Product Managers, Data Science, User Research) to define and collect product and performance metrics (e.g., key performance indicators [KPIs] such as engagement, usage, acquisition, revenue, and in-project features), monitor and report on progress (e.g., business reviews), and derive deep insights and drives productive courses of action to improve product/feature development, iteration, and implementation.
- You will leverage customer listening systems, telemetry, engagements (e.g., interviews, surveys), etc., to develop insights on product performance and customer needs. Shares insights with SWE, HWE, and other partners. You will form hypotheses to complex technical needs, performs experiments, iterates, and tests to drive improvement/adoption in specific performance metrics that have broad impact in a targeted area.
- You will evangelize the feature areas they work on with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and customers in the industry via presentations, blog posts and other forums. You will act as a primary interface with Product Marketing and Communications teams to educate on the product and lead measures contributing to product usage and Key Performance Indicators.
Qualifications
Required Qualificiations:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with AI platforms and Large Language Models.
- Experience building or managing products with Agents and AI tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
- 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
