Senior Art Director in
India.
As a Senior Art Director, you will lead and inspire creative teams to develop visually compelling digital and social media designs that elevate brand presence and engagement. You will manage multiple projects across digital channels, ensuring high-quality execution while mentoring junior designers and art directors. This role demands a balance of hands-on design work, strategic thinking, and project management, enabling you to influence brand direction and maintain consistency across all creative outputs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, copywriting, and product stakeholders to translate concepts into impactful visuals. The position offers a fully remote work environment, providing flexibility while engaging in a fast-paced, high-impact creative setting.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the creation of innovative digital and social media designs across multiple channels
- Mentor and guide junior designers and art directors, fostering creative growth and high standards
- Oversee production design, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, and alignment with brand objectives
- Manage project timelines, track KPIs, and coordinate resources for multiple simultaneous projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, copywriting, and product to translate concepts into visual solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and design best practices, incorporating new technologies and techniques
- Maintain and develop brand guidelines, templates, and creative standards across all outputs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent practical experience
- 10-15 years of professional experience in design, preferably in retail, fashion, or marketing
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat
- Strong visual problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Proven experience in project management, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Ability to maintain and grow a brand's creative vision through layout, typography, photo composition, and mood board creation
- Familiarity with basic web design principles is desirable
