We’re partnering with a pioneering AI company operating at the cutting edge of real-time multimodal interaction. They’re looking for a world-class Research Scientist to join as one of the earliest technical hires. This is a rare chance to shape the direction of a next-generation foundation model from the ground up.
The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing advanced models for speech synthesis and audio generation. You’ll own the process end to end, from designing novel architectures and curating data pipelines, through to training at scale and benchmarking performance.
You’ll work closely with other top-tier researchers across language and vision to push the boundaries of what’s possible in real-time, emotionally intelligent systems.
What We’re Looking For
- PhD (or equivalent experience) in a relevant area such as speech synthesis, text to speech, speech to speech, audio generation, or signal processing.
- A strong track record of deep learning research, whether through publications, open-source contributions, or impactful applied work.
- Expertise across the full ML development lifecycle, including large-scale model training.
- Excellent engineering skills with a focus on clear, maintainable code.
- Comfortable working in an environment where you’ll set direction, not just follow it.
