Title: Power BI Developer
Location: Fully remote
Contract Duration: 6 months
🎯 Role Summary:
Join the Enterprise Data and Analytics (eDnA) team supporting various business units (Finance, Professional Services, etc.) by delivering scalable and optimized Power BI solutions using the Microsoft BI stack and cloud platforms like Azure Databricks. You'll gather business requirements, design data models, build reports/dashboards, and support analytics initiatives end-to-end.
✅ Mandatory Skills & Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence analysis & development
- Hands-on Power BI development experience
- Strong expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Experience working with cloud database platforms – particularly Azure Databricks or AWS
- Solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
- Proficiency in T-SQL (Intermediate to Advanced)
- Experience implementing Power BI security models:
- Row-Level Security (RLS)
- Restricting sharing, publishing, exporting, and printing
- Excellent communication skills – ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or a related field
🛠️ Nice-to-Have Skills (Optional but valuable)
- Experience working in a global or enterprise environment
- Knowledge of BI development lifecycle
- Prior experience with performance tuning Power BI dashboards and queries
- Exposure to proof of concept development or prototyping tools
