Social Media and Communications Specialist!
The Role
Toyota Material Handling, Inc. (TMH)is seeking a qualified candidate to join our Marketing team as the Social Media & Communications Specialist. The Social Media & Communications Specialist will be a large contributor to the company’s content creation and copy-editing needs, including dealer newsletter, long-form content, blog posts, and direct dealer communications and notifications. Also responsible for writing and planning social media posts and day-to-day management of social media platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Dealer communications.
- Content creation and editing.
- Serves as a content creator for TMH
- Assist in managing the ToyotaForklift.com blog.
- Maintain social media platforms and social media planning calendars.
- Manage, create, and share content for all Toyota Forklifts social media platforms.
- Lead dealer communications program and monthly dealer newsletter for TMH.
- Work directly with topical or product experts to develop impactful content for digital marketing, prospect & owner nurturing, social media platforms, e-newsletters, and websites/blog content.
- Edit copy for brochures, web pages, and advertisements.
- Write digital content using foundational Search engine optimization practices.
- Assist in company press releases and public relations efforts as needed.
- Serve as liaison for TALK Magazine, a Toyota Industries Group publication.
- Photograph products, associates, and events as needed for social media.
- Provide analytics specific to social media and content performance.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Additional duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1 - 3 years of public relations and copywriting experience, ideally for B-to-B high-consideration Equipment Company.
- Experience with Sprout Social or other social media management tools.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or basic photo editing software.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and content repurposing skills.
- Ability to multitask.
Where And When You’ll Work
- Enjoy the best of both worlds with a hybrid schedule—collaborate in person at our Columbus, IN office and work remotely Thursdays and Fridays.
- Up to 10% travel may be required.
What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:
Salary - $58,168 - $72,545 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation assistance.
