GCP Data Engineer in SWEDEN

Data Engineer Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Location: Remote or Stockholm hybrid

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our client, a leading retail company within their global data engineering team. The client are looking for both local options in Stockholm as well as fully remote workers.

You will be responsible for building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, data products implementing modern data solutions. You would also be involved heavily with building on top of modern tech stacks and implementing upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows on GCP
• Implement data storage solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL
• Optimize data processing and ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver insights
• Troubleshoot and resolve data engineering issues across environments
• Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams
