Essential Skills
* Minimum of seven years of experience in front-end development with Angular.
* Expertise in Angular version 15+ for building complex applications.
* Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and SCSS.
* Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, RxJS, and ES6.
* Experience with state management using Redux/NGRX.
* Automated testing experience with Jest.
* Experience developing real-time applications using WebSockets.
* Familiarity with NX Monorepo for managing codebases.
* Understanding of Agile working methodologies.
* Advanced English; Spanish desired but not mandatory.
Desirable Skills
* Experience or knowledge of E-Trading systems.
* Familiarity with Continuous Delivery practices.
Role Description
The role consists of working as a front-end developer on a greenfield fixed-income trading platform. This is a strategic and high-profile project within the investment banking sector. The developer will join an agile, distributed team contributing to the build-out and enhancement of electronic trading capabilities in the fixed-income financial market.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and create user interfaces (UIs) focused on optimizing user experience for a critical trading application.
* Actively participate in developing a new team and greenfield solution aimed at improving electronic trading capabilities.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across various regions.
* Produce high-quality front-end code following best practices.
* Engage in continuous communication within Agile processes, such as sprint planning and reviews.
* Participate in code reviews, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
Team Structure & Collaboration
* Be part of a newly formed team focused on innovation in trading platforms.
* Collaborate and interact with stakeholders, including traders and product teams.
* Work closely with development leads and UI specialists to align on candidate selection and project delivery.
