About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our suite of tools used by healthcare providers, patients, and diagnostic reporting systems. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to shape quality standards from the ground up, develop comprehensive test strategies, and execute both manual and automated testing procedures. Your expertise will help maintain the high standards of our innovative healthcare solutions, ensuring they meet functional, security, and accessibility requirements. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practices in quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test design techniques and practical implementation.
  • Proficiency in testing web technologies including HTML, CSS, and client-server architecture.
  • Hands-on experience testing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG and ADA, and testing tools like Axe, Lighthouse, or screen readers.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent professional background.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and develop test strategies aligned with business requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, including manual and automated testing procedures.
  • Perform exploratory, functional, acceptance, regression, and UI testing of web applications.
  • Test APIs and backend services (REST, GraphQL) for robustness, security, and accuracy.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects and quality issues effectively.
  • Lead root cause analysis sessions with developers to facilitate rapid defect resolution.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers, fostering best practices and continuous learning within the team.
  • Contribute to process improvements aimed at enhancing product quality and engineering efficiency.
  • Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and quality assurance.
  • Ensure web applications adhere to accessibility standards through manual and automated testing.
  • Support performance and security testing initiatives where applicable, especially in healthcare environments handling sensitive data.
