The role: Frontend Engineer (React/Next.js)
We’re looking for a top-performing and highly ambitious frontend engineer with 1-5 years of experience to help shape the future of Corporate Finance.
What you will do:
- Design and build high-performance features in React / Next.js.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to define clean, efficient APIs and data flows.
- Shape frontend architecture and contribute to key product decisions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to build the best UX.
- Bring an eye for design and usability — you know what “good UI” feels like and how to get there.
- Maintain a clear overview of our systems, addressing technical debt while ensuring performance, accessibility, and long-term scalability.
- Take ownership from concept to deployment, continuously improving our stack.
Qualifications - to be successful in this role, you will need:
Must-haves
- 1–5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of designing and developing scalable, reliable software.
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or similar field.
- Strong proficiency in React / Next.js and TailwindCSS, with a good understanding of how frontends integrate with APIs and data models.
- Extensive experience managing async/non-async state — ideally using Zustand, React Query, or similar.
- Experience translating design systems into pixel-perfect, responsive UIs.
- Strong communication and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ownership mindset, responsibility and accountability.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in fintech and data-intensive applications
- Familiarity with backend technologies (Python, databases, REST/GraphQL APIs).
- Founding-experience - entrepreneurial drive, resourcefulness, and comfort with ambiguity.
