Job OverviewWe’re looking for an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. This is a key technical role for a senior-level professional who enjoys solving complex challenges, working independently, and ensuring high-performance and availability of critical database systems — all in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and maintain high-availability SQL Server environments.
- Optimize queries and stored procedures through advanced T-SQL tuning.
- Automate routine tasks using Windows scripting tools (PowerShell, batch, etc.).
- Plan and design new databases and maintain existing ones.
- Lead incident resolution and operate effectively under pressure.
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations as needed.
Requirements- 8+ years of experience in SQL Server database administration and design.
- Advanced skills in T-SQL optimization and performance tuning.
- Strong proficiency in Windows scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and teamwork abilities.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setup.
