Location: Initial 6-month posting in Bangalore, followed by relocation to Gurgaon.

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with strong technical expertise and leadership skills to drive the development of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, passionate about learning new frameworks, and capable of guiding the team in adopting modern technologies. A good understanding of the financial domain and basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts will be highly valuable. Key

Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver high-quality web and mobile applications

- Stay hands-on with design, coding, code reviews, and architecture discussions.

- Learn and adopt new frameworks/tools; lead by example in implementation.- Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

- Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and agile delivery.

- Ensure system reliability, performance, and security in line with financial domain standards.

- Contribute to technical strategy, roadmap planning, and innovation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10–12 years of experience in software development, with at least 3–4 years in a leadership/managerial role.

- Strong technical background in web application development (front-end and back-end).

- Hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE technologies, RDBMS, and MongoDB.

- Experience with mobile app development (native or hybrid frameworks).

- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and their applications.

- Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies/frameworks.

- Proven experience in leading engineering teams, fostering growth and collaboration.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Exposure to or understanding of the financial services/domain.

- Engineering graduate or post-graduate from a reputed Tier-1/Tier-2 college.

Nice to Have

- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) experience.

- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and scalable system design.

- Prior experience working in fintech or BFSI projects
