About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive iOS Developer to join our dynamic team on a fully remote basis in the United Kingdom. This is a 9 to 12-month contract role offering an attractive pay rate of 450 to 550 outside IR35. The successful candidate will take ownership of critical projects at the intersection of mobile technology and secure financial solutions. You will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end, developing high-quality, secure, and innovative applications that leverage iOS technologies, the Microsoft Stack, banking systems, and AI/ML integration.
This role requires a developer with a deep understanding of native iOS development, experience working within secure banking or fintech environments, and familiarity with integrating advanced AI/ML features. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet stringent security and compliance standards while providing seamless user experiences. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge financial technology projects, contributing to the development of secure, scalable, and innovative mobile applications.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in native iOS development using Swift and Objective-C, or extensive experience with modern Swift frameworks such as SwiftUI and the iOS SDK.
- Strong understanding of fintech security principles, banking compliance standards, and secure application development practices.
- Practical experience with the Microsoft Stack, including .NET, Azure cloud services, or Power Platform tools.
- Hands-on experience with integrating AI/ML models, particularly NLP or recommendation systems, into mobile applications.
- Ability to manage technical projects independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid European work permit is required.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining native iOS applications that are secure, scalable, and user-friendly.
- Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams including backend developers, security specialists, and data scientists to deliver integrated solutions.
- Implementing secure banking and fintech functionalities in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Integrating AI/ML features such as NLP or recommendation engines into mobile applications to enhance user experience and functionality.
- Managing project timelines, deliverables, and quality assurance processes independently to meet tight deadlines.
- Ensuring the applications adhere to best practices for security, performance, and usability.
- Participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards across projects.
