Intermediate Python Developer who wants to build more than just backend services. Someone who will leave their fingerprints on a product built to scale globally, while collaborating with a tight-knit team that values clarity, precision, and creativity.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of backend features using Python and Django.
- Design and refine APIs, weaving in message-driven systems like Kafka.
- Write code that’s not only clean but tested, both unit and integration.
- Deploy and maintain services in the cloud, containerised and resilient.
- Work in sync with a team based in Eastern European working hours (UTC+3), keeping collaboration smooth and time-aligned.
- Strengthen CI/CD pipelines, build monitoring that speaks truth, and support production environments with confidence.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of backend development grounded in Python.
- Depth in Django and asyncio.
- Practical experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS or similar).
- Confidence with PostgreSQL, Kafka, and CI/CD workflows.
- Clear English communication and the ability to thrive in an Agile setting.
- Willingness to join on-call rotations.
Desirable extras: Kubernetes, React, event sourcing, or frameworks like Flink.
