Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Job Description

The Human Resources Manager partners with people leaders and employees to foster a culture that supports diversity, innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement. This role involves providing consultative and business-focused services to align the people strategy with the business strategy and address HR-related matters. Key areas include talent management and development, compensation, benefits, coaching, employee engagement, and labor relations. Additionally, the role supports change management initiatives within assigned client groups.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Human Resource leadership as a member of the leadership teams at the assigned business unit/location/function.
  • Work with leaders to develop and implement people and organization strategy to achieve business objectives.
  • Consult on business issues and represent business needs when setting HR priorities.
  • Provide proactive, innovative, and customer-oriented HR solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with local HR teams in various geographies to deliver global HR solutions.
  • Support hiring requests and workforce planning alongside Talent Acquisition Specialists and Hiring Managers.
  • Partner with the talent management team on talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Manage selection and site onboarding processes and forecast resource requirements.
  • Lead all aspects of Human Resource services for the assigned location/function/business unit.
  • Implement and drive critical HR processes, such as salary planning, performance management, and benefits administration.
  • Promote an open and inclusive work environment, enhancing employee engagement.
  • Optimize management and employee relationships to gain credibility and trust while driving positive changes.
  • Dialogue with employee and union leadership, attend union management meetings, and handle grievances and contract negotiations.
  • Develop and coach employees to retain and expand organizational talent.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of HR or related experience.
  • Experience with employment laws and practices.
  • Change management experience.
  • Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with modern HRIS systems such as Workday and SAP.
  • Ability to make business decisions using data analytics.
  • Advanced English proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Labor relations experience preferred.
  • HR expertise with a well-developed knowledge base.
  • Digital mindset and ability to apply HR expertise and skills to various situations.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI and other applicable technology.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at the Riverview Chemical facility. The role involves working across multiple mining sites, which are characterized as blue-collar, unionized environments that can be loud, hot, and dirty. Appropriate safety gear, such as steel toes and hard hats, may be required. The position offers a mix of strategic and transactional responsibilities, providing experience in working with General Managers, Labor Relations, and the company's HR center of excellence.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Riverview, Florida.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

Will attach but they offer full benefits and also will pay relocation if needed

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Riverview,FL.
