Essential Responsibilities
You are a seasoned Cyber Security Leader with a passion for leading world class technical security teams to ensure business systems are deployed in secure and compliant manners through highly process optimized engagement and delivery mechanisms. In this role you will mature your team’s capabilities to meet the needs of the business. As Director – Cyber Security, you will apply your knowledge of lean process management, IT and Operational Technology security architecture, industry standards, and technical security best practices to help business partners and application/infrastructure owners deliver secure products.
In This Role, You Will
- Be a strategic leader developing cybersecurity strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives then advocating for and gaining support from key stakeholders across the business so that cybersecurity is integrated as a business enabler rather than a barrier
- Mature and develop a business wide security engagement and assessment program that is aligned closely with internal stakeholders to define the scope, objectives, and timelines for assessments resulting in actionable recommendations that drive meaningful change
- Manage a team of high-performing cyber security professionals with a focus entrenching a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement as well as setting clear expectations to encouraging professional growth
- Champion compliance with cybersecurity regulations, standards, and frameworks through formal security engagement and assessment programs driven through lean processes and reporting
- Lad the Operational Technology (OT) engagement team to continue implementing an OT security engagement program that anticipates and mitigates emerging threats as well as up
- Manage strategic business partnerships and relationships through Technical, Financial, Contractual and Relationship management
- Plan and manage budgets related to scope of team
- Communicate effectively both within immediate team and GE leadership. Ensure team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and results
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with demonstrated and significant experience in team leadership and direct employee/manager relationships, process development with lean methodologies, and deep technical expertise in relevant security domains.
Desired Characteristics / Technical Expertise
- Ability to consult customer on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions at an enterprise level
- Ability to Analyze, design, and develop a solution roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state of the business.
- Working knowledge of configuration choices and related cost implications; Experience with complex solution configurations.
- Experience sustaining operational stability through various life cycle phases (planning, implementation, steady state, de-commissioning); Ability to provision and budget via capital and operating.
- Able to lead early-stage stakeholder interactions; Guide stakeholders as they develop confidence and comfort with approaches and integrate with their legacy tech investments.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, standards, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443).
- Experience with formal security assessment tools and methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC) are a plus.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Maintenance and update of Engine Test Software, to ensure accurate reflection of Engine Test Manuals.
- Regular backup of Engine Test Software to ensure there is contingency to recover from major system failure.
- Monitor trend analysis through the use of the “Test Cell Analysis Reports (TCA)” automatically generated reports, in conjunction with “Propulsion Engineering” and dissemination of key information to affected Engine Shop Operations departments, proposing and implementing corrective action where applicable.
- Test Efficiency Focal – analyse and monitor test efficiency performance and generate Problem solving reports and action plan for continue improvement.
- Regular contact and liaison with Software OEM to ensure Product reliability and serviceability.
- Carry out Troubleshooting of Engine Test Software by carrying out Engine Performance data verification to ensure correct operation of Engine Test Software.
- Maintenance and updating of Engine Performance Database.
- OEM Manual Revisions vetting to ensure compliance of Engine Test Software with Manuals.
- Assist with customer audits – ensuring all test software is compliant and aligned with ESM.
- RCCA – correlate pareto date from trend monitoring and solve systemic issues.
- Ability to Lead and Facilitate problem solving to improve performance and eliminate Waste and Non value activity.
- Assist with production needs when required.
Required Qualifications
- This role requires advanced experience in Engineering/Software & Operations. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
