Intro / The Hook

We’re looking for a Global Mobility Manager to oversee and enhance our global relocation and assignment programmes, driving a seamless employee experience and operational excellence across all regions. You’ll act as the subject matter authority (SME) for global mobility, advising partners and ensuring our processes align with business goals and compliance requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the Global Mobility population across all regions, acting as the Global Mobility SME for key partners.
  • End-to-end management of the relocation process for our global permanent transfers and assignee population, with an initial focus on the Americas Region .
  • Partner with the business and act as a trusted advisor to HR, tax, payroll, immigration, and external vendors.
  • Lead the full relocation/assignment life cycle — including cost estimates, documentation, payroll coordination, and process reviews.
  • Conduct briefing calls with candidates to outline relocation packages and expectations.
  • Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure every move is run efficiently and compliantly.
  • Maintain a high-quality employee experience through proactive communication and regular check-ins.
  • Support and coach junior team members within the Global Mobility team.
  • Maintain relationships with key external providers (relocation, tax, immigration), ensuring services are fit for purpose.
  • Act as the primary contact for the relocation services vendor, interpreting policy and reviewing exceptions.
  • Advise HR and business leaders on the appropriate relocation policies and compliance considerations.
  • Establish Global Mobility infrastructure in new countries, ensuring all compliance, processes, and vendors are in place.
  • Support the Head of Global Mobility with process improvements, policy updates, and critical initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.

How You’ll Do It

  • 5+ years’ experience in Global Mobility, Immigration, or Expatriate Tax , ideally with a focus on the Americas region.
  • Strong understanding of international tax, immigration, and employment law , particularly in the US (Canada and Brazil desirable).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced global organisation , with the ability to operate independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Diligent with strong data accuracy and IT capabilities.
  • Experience building relationships internally and externally, demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
  • Interest in AI and automation as enablers for process optimisation.
  • Personal experience of living or working abroad is a plus.
