On behalf of the European Space Agency, we are looking for a highly skilled Spacecraft Reference Database and Software Test Procedure Engineer to work in ESTEC, in the Netherlands.

What Is Expected From You

  • Support projects in the preparation, evaluation and reviewing of all aspects of Spacecraft Reference Database (SRDB) engineering (including spacecraft control procedures).
  • Support projects in the frame of SRDB Data Quality and Software and its Data Management.
  • Monitor the industrial activities concerning the development of SRDB definition, population, test procedures and quality management.
  • Support the preparation and execution of R&D activities in the domain of competence of the Section.
  • Participate in the development of engineering standards in the domain of competence of the Section.
  • Support the development of SRDB and test procedure technologies in alignment to its application in Digital (Twin) Spacecraft contexts.

What You Offer

  • Master Degree in the relevant field
  • Knowledge and experience with software engineering and semantic modelling.
  • Knowledge and experience with spacecraft functional verification (Simulation Modelling, Real-Time Simulator development, testing and evaluation. Spacecraft database management systems (Data Modelling, Software Development, Model Driven Software Generation, Monitoring and Procedure Control Languages)
  • Data Quality and Data Management.

Where

You will be working within ESTEC, the European Space Agency’s offices in the Netherlands as a contractor for Telespazio Belgium. We don’t expect the employees to be on-site full time however you will still have to relocate to the Netherlands for this position.
