Quality Assurance Analyst at Handoff
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Handoff’s AI-powered platform. This role emphasizes hands-on manual testing, exploratory workflows, and close collaboration with Support, CS, Product, and Engineering to surface and resolve issues before they impact our users. Your work will directly contribute to seamless, bug-free product releases, helping remodelers confidently manage their businesses with Handoff.
What You'll Do
- Participate in the software development life cycle from beginning to end, acting as a quality advocate at each stage
- Create and execute test plans for both new and existing features across web and mobile platforms
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and PMs to ensure features are testable, stable, and ready for release
- Work closely with CS, Support, and Sales to reproduce reported issues and validate fixes in production
- Execute manual exploratory testing for complex workflows and edge cases, including regression, smoke, and rollback validation
- Document test plans, coverage, and QA processes for team alignment and continuous improvement
- Contribute to a zero-critical-bugs release culture by enforcing standards around readiness and stability
- Experiment with AI-assisted testing tools to increase coverage and efficiency
About You
- 3+ years in QA or software testing, with strong experience in manual testing, exploratory QA, and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience working closely with Customer Support, CS, and Product teams to triage and resolve user-facing issues
- Strong test planning and reporting skills - you think in terms of workflows, edge cases, and impact on real users
- Proactive, curious, and user-centric mindset - you seek out inconsistencies and speak up for quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with evolving priorities and high ownership
- Experience in test automation (Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.) is a nice-to-have
- Familiarity with AI tools or interest in leveraging them to improve testing efficiency is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate user concerns into testable scenarios and actionable feedback
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
