We're on the lookout for a talented Software Engineer to join our team and help us develop a new product that will revolutionize the way we provide GPS information to our customers!
As a Software Engineer on our team, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the software applications while also ensuring smooth integration and efficient operation with our core Tracing application and other systems at HL. We're looking for someone with a solid foundation in software engineering principles, excellent programming skills, and a comprehensive understanding of Cloud technologies (AWS).
Responsibilities
- Be part of a cross-functional team that designs, develops and implements cloud software applications following best practices and company architecture guidelines. Enhance existing application functionality by developing new features in agile methodologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality, performance, and deployment.
- Optimize software applications for performance, scalability, security and reliability. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software engineering to introduce innovative approaches and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field or otherwise proven experience in software engineering.
- Strong focus on development and deployment processes.
- Good experience developing application in cloud environment (AWS)
- Proficiency in Java programming language.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Understanding of Domain Driven Design, Clean Architecture, Event Driven Architecture, API Design Principles
- We are an international company, so you should feel comfortable with communicating in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in software engineering or cloud technologies.
- Experience with SQL and noSQL databases
- Experience with Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologies.
- Experience in international logistic context would be good
