Job Description
Are you a seasoned full stack developer with a strong command of TypeScript, React.js, and serverless architectures? Do you take pride in writing clean, scalable code and mentoring others? ChiroUp is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our remote development team.
As a senior member of the team, you'll take ownership of complex features, collaborate closely across functions, and help shape the technical direction of our platform. You'll be instrumental in delivering high-quality software that supports chiropractors in delivering better patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of web applications using TypeScript and React.js
- Build and maintain serverless backends with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and the Serverless Framework
- Collaborate with business analysts to deliver thoughtful, well-executed solutions
- Help maintain and improve code quality, architecture, and dev processes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other developers as needed
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues with a proactive mindset
- Stay current with modern development practices and suggest improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React.js, and modern JavaScript tooling
- Proven experience building and maintaining full-stack applications
- Understanding of best practices around testing, CI/CD, and clean architecture
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote team
- Bonus: Experience mentoring developers or leading small teams
- Bonus: Experience with serverless architecture, ideally using the Serverless Framework and AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS)
