Who we are:
PlayMakers is a community tool to turn players into creators, ambassadors, and loyal fans. We worked with 70+ studios to help them grow and engage their community.
We are currently developing several indie PC game prototypes, with the main goal of building an audience by documenting the creation process in engaging, funny, and non-technical ways.

Responsibilities:
- Game Development: Build small game prototypes within one month. These prototypes will be released for free and showcased in videos to help build a following.
- Game Design: Collaborate closely with our CPO to create fun, engaging prototypes, while documenting and sharing the creation process online.
- Content Selection: Contribute ideas on what parts of the development process should be highlighted in short-form content, and work with the production team to share your process effectively.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Unity and C#
- Good understanding of game design principles and player engagement mechanics
- Ability to work quickly and iterate on ideas within tight timelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in prototyping*
- Basic knowledge about other fields of game development: Animation, 2D, or 3D Art.
Preferred Skills:
While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences would be advantageous:
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git)
- AI Interest: Strong interest in new AI technologies that can be used in your game development workflow
- Market Research Proficiency: Ability to analyze market trends, identify player preferences, and apply insights to prototype development.
- Content Creation Skills: Experience in recording or presenting your development process for an online audience.
- Collaboration Tools: Comfort with tools like Notion or similar project management platforms.
