To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Advanced Dynamics 365 Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Robust Development Skills: Proven ability to develop and implement custom plugins, forms, ribbons, workflows, and automations using C# or VB.NET, JavaScript, and the Power Platform.
- Integration and Data Modelling Expertise: Experience with data modelling, connectors, and seamlessly integrating Dynamics 365 solutions with other systems and data sources.
- Problem-Solving and Leadership: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with the ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively within a team environment. Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are highly desirable.
Success in the Role: Performance Outcomes in your first 6-12 months (The What)
Within your first 6-12 months, you will be expected to achieve the following key outcomes:
- Lead Solution Delivery: Successfully lead the end-to-end development and implementation of multiple Dynamics 365 solutions, ensuring they meet client specifications and deliver significant business value.
- Drive Technical Excellence: Consistently deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions, demonstrating advanced proficiency in custom development, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Foster Team Growth: Actively mentor and guide junior team members, sharing best practices and contributing to their professional development and the overall capability of the team.
- Enhance Client Relationships: Build strong collaborative relationships with clients, providing expert guidance and ensuring their evolving needs are met through effective Dynamics 365 capabilities.
What type of work will I be doing? (The How)
Your work will involve a dynamic blend of technical leadership, hands-on development, and client engagement.
Key activities include:
- Project Leadership (approx. 30%): Leading the technical direction of Dynamics 365 projects, collaborating with clients to gather and analyse business requirements, and designing robust solutions.
- Development & Integration (approx. 40%): Developing and implementing custom components (plugins, forms, workflows) using C#, JavaScript, and the Power Platform, alongside integrating Dynamics 365 with other systems to ensure seamless data flow.
- Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting (approx. 15%): Overseeing and conducting thorough testing, identifying and resolving technical issues, and providing ongoing support for deployed solutions.
- Client Collaboration & Documentation (approx. 15%): Working closely with clients to understand their needs, providing expert guidance, and creating detailed technical documentation and training materials.

- This role is based in Dublin and at Deloitte Ireland, we operate a hybrid working model, blending office-based collaboration with remote work, allowing for flexibility while fostering team connection.
