Role Overview
As an n8n Workflow Developer, you will:
- Design Automated Workflows: Build and manage end-to-end automation pipelines using n8n across marketing, sales, ops, and product teams.
- Integrate with APIs: Connect multiple services via REST APIs, webhooks, and custom API nodes for seamless data flow.
- Custom Scripting: Use JavaScript code nodes for dynamic logic, transformations, and custom step control.
- Data Sync & Storage: Sync data between CRMs, databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), cloud storage, and internal systems.
- Error Handling: Implement error handling, retry logic, and failover structures for reliable automation.
- Version Control & Deployment: Collaborate with developers to manage workflows via Git or deploy on Docker-based infrastructure.
Technical Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in workflow automation, process integration, or no-code/low-code development.
- n8n Expertise: Strong experience building scalable and maintainable workflows using n8n.
- APIs & Webhooks: Understanding of REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, and webhook handling.
- Scripting: Basic JavaScript proficiency for custom logic and extensions within workflows.
- Cloud & Deployment: Familiarity with Docker, n8n self-hosting, and deployment on platforms like AWS or DigitalOcean.
- Automation Mindset: Ability to break down business processes and design automation that is reliable, efficient, and maintainable.
