OysterLink is the newest and fastest-growing restaurant & hospitality job site. The site just launched recently and is generating over 300,000 monthly visitors organically.
We are seeking a senior-level Full-Stack Developer who can:
- Produce high-quality code that follows best practices, is fully covered by tests and is optimized
- Work with Node.js for backend, React for frontend, MySQL database, Redis for caching, and a Microservices architecture
The GOALS for this position is to:
- Be efficient and precise with your work, produce high-quality features and stay on track with advances in technology, especially AI.
Required Skills:
- You are an expert developer and a motivated AI enthusiast.
- 7+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a strong background in React, NextJS, NodeJS, and ExpressJS.
- In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and Microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive solutions to completion.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fully remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain features and services
- Contribute to solution design and implementation details; provide input during technical discussions.
- Estimate tasks and deliver on time.
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code with unit/integration tests; contribute to CI/CD workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold team coding standards and best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the stack; own features from development through deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, QA, and DevOps to align on requirements and delivery.
- Monitor performance and reliability; add and improve observability (logging, metrics, tracing).
- Research relevant tools and approaches; share findings to improve team efficiency and product quality.
