Must-Have Requirements:
- Epic Clarity Data Model certification (EpicCare Inpatient, Hospital Billing, Prelude ADT, Radiant, Willow, Optime)
- 5+ years of experience in a healthcare organization
- 5+ years demonstrated expertise in MS SQL Server or Oracle
- Strong SQL programming skills (MS SQL Server/Oracle)
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data structures, and reporting
- Extensive knowledge of SAP Business Objects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Job Description:
The BI Developer is responsible for leading the development of reporting and analytics solutions for electronic health record (EHR) system by gathering business needs, documenting requirements, identifying appropriate data sources, developing reports, and delivering them to stakeholders. The BI Developer collaborates with the Manager, Business Intelligence Operations and the Director, Enterprise Analytics on priorities and manages the resolution of escalated issues. The role includes detailed investigation and documentation of reporting specifications and application functionality, requiring in-depth knowledge of relevant software applications and institutional policies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain BI and analytics solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
- Identify data sources and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
- Work closely with other technical and business teams to ensure alignment
- Troubleshoot data and reporting issues
Minimum Qualifications:
- Epic Clarity Data Model certification
- 5+ years of healthcare experience
- Proficiency in SQL (MS SQL Server/Oracle)
- Experience with SAP Business Objects
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Quality Measures Reporting
- Epic build experience in a live environment
- Experience in Epic implementation related to clinical workflows and order management
