About The Job

This role will be for an Architect level position that can support Infrastructure Engineering across multiple disciplines: Network, Systems, and Cloud.

WHAT YOU"LL DO:

  • Work closely with executive management, business lines, development teams and vendors to define infrastructure requirements, lead infrastructure projects, and ensure seamless integration across various platforms and services.
  • Create strategic infrastructure plans, roadmaps, and policies to guide the evolution of digital infrastructure, aligning with business objectives and technological advancements.
  • Establish relationships with key company stakeholders to anticipate infrastructure needs, respond to emerging requirements, and provide guidance on current and planned capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of emerging infrastructure technologies and trends. Evaluate and recommend new solutions to enhance infrastructure capabilities and support future growth.
  • Collaboratively manage data center capacity and capabilities across the company, forecasting and aligning to strategic growth requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize infrastructure costs, implementing cost-control/chargeback measures and ensuring efficient resource utilization over time.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure designs. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and training to engineers and other IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of infrastructure related experience with a minimum of 3 years operating at a Senior Engineer or Architect level.
  • Expert level familiarity in one of the key infrastructure domains (networking, systems, cloud) with a solid understanding of, and ability to speak intelligently about, at least one other.
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, take initiative, and work independently with minimal direct supervision in a high paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong communication skills, effectively tailoring information to a specific audience, including executive management, division leaders, vendors, technical peers, and junior engineers.
  • Demonstrated success in large-scale infrastructure design and enterprise migrations.
  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure security, disaster recovery, and high availability concepts.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

US Salary Range

$154,000—$231,000 USD

Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
