About the Role:

We’re looking for a Freelance Product Designer to collaborate with Blu Sky Digital on client projects. You’ll design intuitive and beautiful user experiences across web, mobile, and SaaS platforms. This is a project-based remote role, ideal for an independent designer who can take ownership of the entire product design lifecycle—from discovery to delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the UX/UI design process for assigned projects (discovery, wireframes, prototypes, final UI).
• Conduct research, competitive analysis, and user journey mapping.
• Translate requirements into visually compelling, user-friendly interfaces.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure smooth execution.
• Contribute to Blu Sky’s evolving design systems and best practices.
• Deliver on time and communicate progress effectively in a remote environment.

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI, or Interaction Design.
• Proven portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work (web or mobile).
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards.
• Ability to manage multiple project timelines and adapt to varying scopes.

Compensation:

This is a project-based, remote contract position. Compensation will be structured as one of the following:

• 💼 Percentage Model: 25–35% of the total project budget (depending on project size, complexity, and deliverables).
• Example: For a $10,000 project, designer compensation would range from $2,500–$3,500.
• 🔹 Alternative Option: Flat-rate per project (negotiated per scope).
• 🔹 Bonus Potential: Performance-based bonuses or long-term retainer opportunities may become available as Blu Sky Digital expands.
