Title: Full Stack Node.js Developer – United States

Summary:
Our client is seeking a talented Full Stack Node.js Developer to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for building performant, scalable, and user-friendly web applications end-to-end — from backend services to polished front-end experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and data engineers to deliver high-impact features and modern digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and modern frameworks (e.g., Express, NestJS).
- Build and maintain front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular), ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
- Implement and manage data access layers, integrating with relational and non-relational databases.
- Develop clean, well-tested code following best practices for security, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, data engineers, QA) to plan, deliver, and iterate on new features.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to CI/CD workflows, cloud deployments, and production monitoring as part of a DevOps-oriented culture.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack or Backend JavaScript/TypeScript developer.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Node.js and related frameworks (Express, NestJS, etc.).
- Solid front-end experience with at least one major framework (React preferred).
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration; GraphQL experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
- Experience with version control (Git), code reviews, and modern software development workflows.
- Strong understanding of web application architecture, authentication/authorization, and security best practices.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript in both front- and back-end contexts.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, Cypress, etc.).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- An eye for UX/UI quality and performance.
