About The Role
Parcelhero is seeking a Marketing Director to lead a team of six and manage a multi-million-pound budget. This strategic and hands-on role will lead all marketing efforts, encompassing brand strategy, content creation, performance marketing, and team leadership. You'll be responsible for building a cohesive and impactful marketing vision that drives growth for both our price comparison site and the new Parcelhero Pro B2B SaaS product. The ideal candidate will be a creative leader with a strong analytical background, capable of developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that generate leads, acquire customers, and build brand presence.
What will you be doing?
- Strategy and Vision: Define and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives for both the B2C price comparison platform and the B2B SaaS ParcelHero Pro product
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a marketing team of 5, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and innovation
- Budget Management: Manage and optimize a multi-million pound marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation across all channels and initiatives to maximize ROI
- Brand & Content: Develop and maintain the Parcelhero brand, ensuring consistency across all channels. Oversee the creation of compelling content, including website copy, blog posts, case studies, and thought leadership pieces
- Performance Marketing: Oversee the performance marketing team's strategy and execution across paid digital channels (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn, social media paid), and organic channels (e.g., SEO, GEO/LLM, email marketing) to drive user acquisition and lead generation
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Product, Sales, and Development teams to align marketing efforts, support product launches, and drive overall business growth
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics to track performance metrics, identify trends, and inform data-driven decisions across all marketing activities
What are we looking for?
- Marketing Leadership: Proven track record of leading and managing a marketing team, developing talent, and fostering a collaborative environment
- Brand & Demand Generation: Demonstrated experience in both brand building and demand generation, with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes
- Analytics: Deep analytics background and a high degree of proficiency with data tools. You should have the ability to synthesize, analyze, and interpret data and translate it into actionable steps
- Industry Experience: Experience working with both consumer (B2C) and business (B2B) brands, ideally with exposure to the ecommerce or logistics sectors. Experience with a price comparison website or a shipping platform is a plus
- Feedback Management: Comfortable providing creative feedback and managing feedback processes related to ad creatives and landing pages
- Leadership Presence: Strong leadership presence, capable of creating buy-in across a diverse group of stakeholders
- Workflow Optimization: Solid experience applying workflow tools and management systems to optimize team productivity, deliver work on time, and manage expectations
- Advertising Knowledge: Well-versed in all advertising mediums and their appropriate usage, including social media, display, SEO, SEM, and mobile channels
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated experience building personal knowledge of the parcel delivery and e-commerce landscape
- Organizational Skills: Thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first growth environment, is highly organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask effectively
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with a proven track record of driving growth and ROI in both B2C and B2B contexts
- Experience leading and managing a high-performing marketing team
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track key metrics, interpret data, and generate actionable insights
- Expert proficiency in CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce, Google Analytics, other BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau, and other relevant marketing and project management tools such as ClickUp or Asana
- Excellent communication and organization skills in a remote setting
- Proficiency in the Google Workspace suite, particularly Google Sheets
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
