About The Role

Cinq Music is seeking a dynamic, visionary, and execution-focused Vice President of Marketing to lead all marketing efforts across our portfolio of labels, artists, and global initiatives. The VP of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that amplify our market presence, accelerate artist growth, and strengthen Cinq Music’s position as a leader in the evolving music industry.

This executive will oversee brand, commercial, digital, and audience development marketing functions, managing both internal teams and external agency partners. They will set the strategic vision for marketing and ensure alignment across artist development, fan engagement, and business growth objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

Marketing Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and lead the overall marketing vision and roadmap for Cinq Music.
  • Oversee all marketing disciplines, including DSP/commercial marketing, content and creator strategy, creative direction, audience development, and paid media.
  • Align marketing initiatives with corporate goals, artist objectives, and label priorities to ensure growth and profitability.

Artist Development & Growth

  • Build and execute campaigns that break new artists, elevate emerging talent, and expand catalog reach.
  • Pioneer innovative approaches to audience development, superfan engagement, and direct-to-fan monetization.
  • Ensure marketing strategies are deeply integrated with A&R, commercial, and digital initiatives.

Audience Development & Creator Marketing

  • Provide high-level leadership and direction for influencer, creator, and fan engagement strategies, executed by the Director of Audience Development and their team.
  • Ensure creator-led campaigns are integrated into broader marketing plans, supporting streaming growth, retention, and D2C revenue.
  • Champion fan-first initiatives including digital fan clubs, community-driven programs, CRM/first-party data strategies, and superfans monetization.
  • Hold ultimate accountability for audience growth, engagement KPIs, and ROI-driven creator marketing.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a distributed marketing organization, including direct oversight of senior marketing leaders (e.g., Director of Audience Development)
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence—developing high-potential talent into future leaders.
  • Assess organizational needs and address talent gaps in anticipation of future growth.

Industry & Partner Relations

  • Cultivate and expand relationships with DSPs, creators, media platforms, agencies, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent GoDigital Music as a senior leader in external meetings, industry events, and key partnership discussions.
  • Strengthen collaboration with label partners, artist management teams, and other stakeholders to maximize marketing impact.

Data, Insights & Process

  • Drive a culture of data-informed decision-making across marketing disciplines.
  • Build scalable processes for campaign planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Partner with analytics, finance, and operations teams to translate insights into actionable strategies that increase ROI.

Innovation & Market Foresight

  • Anticipate and capitalize on emerging industry trends in music, media, technology, and fan engagement.
  • Experiment with new platforms, tools, and audience development strategies that expand reach and monetization potential.
  • Ensure GoDigital remains on the cutting edge of marketing innovation, from creator economies to direct-to-fan platforms.

Experience And Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in music marketing, with a proven record of breaking artists and driving measurable growth.
  • Expertise in Latin music markets strongly preferred; global music marketing experience a plus.
  • Strong, established relationships with DSPs, creators, influencers, and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in integrated campaigns across digital, social, experiential, and traditional channels.
  • Experience managing audience development, creator marketing, and influencer strategies at scale.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams across multiple marketing functions.
  • Data-driven and process-oriented, with advanced skills in campaign analytics and performance optimization.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills; able to inspire teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree a plus.
  • Bilingual/Multilingual (Spanish strongly preferred) is a plus.
