We’re looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our employees and customers who experience technical issues, ensuring quick and effective resolution to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support via chat, email, or phone for hardware, software, and network issues.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system, network, and application problems.
Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and mobile devices.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in systems like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or Active Directory.
Install and update software and operating systems.
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support or vendors when necessary.
Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance and backups.
Assist with onboarding/offboarding employees from an IT perspective.
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of IT support or help desk experience.
Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux environments.
Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Experience with remote troubleshooting tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira Service Management).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
