Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible. Work on rapid prototyping and technology deployment that addresses the Marine Corps’ most urgent needs.
• Partner with a dynamic team of engineers, project managers, and end-users to define requirements and deliver top-notch solutions that meet mission objectives.
• Utilize Java and JavaScript to craft high-performance applications. Your expertise will drive the creation of efficient, scalable, and reliable systems.
• Implement algorithms and data structures that ensure software performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and adhere to best practices that maintain the highest development standards.
• Identify, debug, and resolve software issues swiftly, ensuring minimal disruption to mission operations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of development processes and code changes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Experience with Git (version control) and issue tracking tools such as GitLab and Jira
