Main Responsibilities:
Lead the management of data science projects across the business, contributing both technical expertise and business insight to planning, implementation, and performance tracking of deployed models.
Discover and prioritize new use cases where machine learning can drive measurable business impact, such as automating player segmentation or detecting promotional abuse.
Provide day-to-day leadership of the Data Science team, including sprint planning, retrospectives, mentoring, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
Partner closely with Data Engineering teams to ensure scalable and reliable model deployment, aligning solutions with the company’s data infrastructure and operational flows.
Remain hands-on in modelling tasks when required, developing and refining models to detect behavioral patterns (e.g., fraud, trading risk), drive content personalization, and improve automation workflows.
Desired Experience:
• Experience managing data science teams.
• Deep understanding of the full machine learning lifecycle.
• Practical experience deploying both batch and real-time models.
• Solid expertise in machine learning methods.
• Familiarity with modern MLOps and data engineering practices is advantageous.
• Advanced ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets using SQL, and NoSQL systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R for statistical analysis and ML development.
