Position Summary
The Software Developer (.NET / SQL Server) will contribute to the design, development, and support of large-scale web and database applications that drive key business operations. This role involves full-stack development within a collaborative project environment, ensuring that all deliverables align with business requirements, security standards, and performance goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, full lifecycle development experience, and deep proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to identify technical needs and apply existing or new technology solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web and database applications within the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Develop and maintain both front-end interfaces and back-end logic using C#, .NET, and SQL Server.
- Support multiple ongoing projects while adhering to established timelines and priorities.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for development processes and enhancements.
- Conduct code reviews, testing (unit and integration), and provide post-implementation support.
- Participate in weekly progress reporting and ensure transparent communication with project leadership.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Full Stack .NET Development with SQL Server expertise.
- Strong understanding of the front-end and back-end development process.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and familiarity with ASP.NET Core or later versions.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and software design patterns.
- Experience with web application development, database design, and user interface design.
- Familiarity with SQL, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with enterprise-scale application development.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and version control systems (Git preferred).
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on performance optimization.
- 3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience is preferred.
