Atlas, a B2B travel technology company based in Singapore, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Marketing to lead global marketing efforts, oversee acquisition, product placement and brand functions, and propel growth across multiple channels. Atlas is a fully distributed, remote business with a team around the globe. This position is remote, from anywhere in Malaysia, and requires a high level of coordination and communication skills to be successful. You must be able to work independently, set strategic priorities, meet goals, and join meetings via video.
POSITION PURPOSE: As Head of Marketing at Atlas, you will own the global marketing strategy, leading all functions including acquisition, product marketing, brand, and communications. You’ll serve as the strategic bridge between the marketing department and executive leadership, guiding the team to deliver high-impact campaigns while also rolling up your sleeves to execute when needed.
This role requires both vision and execution: Establishing Atlas as a leader in travel technology today while laying the foundation for scalable growth over the next 3-5 years.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team (Acquisition Marketing Manager, Product Marketing Manager, PR Manager, plus future hires).
- Drive recruitment, onboarding, and professional development across the marketing function.
- Set clear goals, KPIs, and accountability structures that align with business objectives.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing, fully remote team culture.
Marketing Strategy & Go-to-Market Execution
- Define and lead Atlas’s global marketing strategy, ensuring acquisition, retention, product, and brand efforts are aligned.
- Partner with the C-suite and cross-functional leaders to influence company-wide growth strategies.
- Oversee go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launches, features, and market expansions, ensuring cross-functional alignment with Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Ensure consistency of brand messaging and positioning across all channels.
- Manage marketing budgets and resource allocation to maximize ROI across initiatives.
Technology, Analytics & Optimization
- Establish and monitor KPIs, analyze campaign performance, and provide actionable insights for continuous optimization.
- Evaluate, recommend, and lead adoption of new marketing tools to support scaling operations.
- Manage platform migrations and integrations, ensuring seamless transitions and improved efficiency.
Brand & Communications
- Oversee Atlas’s brand narrative, positioning, and public relations strategy.
- Act as a senior liaison for external media, partners, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Support executive communications, including interviews, speeches, and opinion pieces.
Strategic Growth Planning
- Identify new market opportunities, channels, and partnerships to scale Atlas globally.
- Develop long-term GTM roadmaps that expand Atlas’s presence across regions, industries, and customer segments.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Growth teams to ensure marketing efforts drive revenue and retention.
- Build scalable processes and frameworks to prepare Atlas for future hypergrowth.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in B2B or enterprise marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional marketing teams, ideally in SaaS, travel tech, or related industries.
- Proven track record developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new products or market expansions.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to turn insights into growth.
- Excellent organizational, people and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Experience evaluating, selecting, and migrating marketing platforms to support scaling organizations.
- Exceptional communication skills, including executive-level storytelling, brand messaging, and internal communications.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional languages (especially Mandarin) is a strong advantage.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hands-on experience with Eloqua, Google Analytics, SEMRush/Ahrefs, WordPress, and other digital marketing tools.
- Prior experience scaling marketing teams and functions for hypergrowth companies.
- Experience with global marketing, multi-lingual campaigns, or regional marketing strategy (especially APAC).
- Proven thought leadership in B2B marketing, public relations, and customer lifecycle strategy.
- Strong design sense and understanding of content creation for multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- A global mindset and cultural fluency — experience working in a fully remote, international team is a strong plus.
