We are looking for a highly skilled Paid & Social Media Specialist to join our team and take ownership of paid media strategy and execution, as well as organic social media growth for both Burst Digital and our clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of agency experience, with a strong background in running paid campaigns across multiple platforms and an ability to develop and execute innovative social media strategies. Without this experience, applications will not be considered.

This role requires a data-driven approach combined with a deep understanding of creative storytelling and audience engagement. You must be adept at managing ad spend effectively, optimizing performance, and staying ahead of industry trends to maximise ROI for our clients.

You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across platforms like Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more, as well as overseeing organic social media strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement.

We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, is constantly looking for ways to improve campaign performance, and has a keen eye for social media trends, creative content, and audience behaviour. Experience and interest in AI is a must—even if it’s just a curiosity and willingness to learn—because AI will define the future of marketing, and we won’t be left behind.


What You'll Be Doing:

Paid Media Strategy & Execution

  • Plan, create, and manage paid ad campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other emerging platforms.
  • Develop strategies to optimize ad spend, ensuring campaigns drive high ROI and exceed client KPIs.
  • Set up, test, and optimize audience targeting, ad creatives, and bidding strategies.
  • Analyse campaign performance, generate reports, and provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to develop high-performing ad creatives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, updates, and algorithm changes to ensure best practices are always applied.


Social Media Strategy & Content Execution

  • Develop and execute organic social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
  • Oversee content planning, calendar management, and posting across all relevant platforms.
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and video editors to ensure high-quality, engaging content.
  • Identify new opportunities for audience growth and engagement through trends, partnerships, and platform innovations.
  • Implement community engagement strategies to build relationships with followers and enhance brand visibility.
  • Track and analyse key performance metrics, optimizing social content based on data insights.


Client & Project Management

  • Act as a strategic partner to clients, ensuring their paid and organic social strategies align with their business goals.
  • Manage client communication, providing regular updates, reports, and insights on performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including content, design, and SEO to ensure holistic marketing execution.
  • Maintain project organization using Monday.com or other project management tools.


AI Integration & Innovation

  • Research and implement AI-driven marketing tools to enhance paid and organic social performance.
  • Experiment with automation tools for audience targeting, campaign optimisation, and content creation.
  • Stay informed about AI trends and emerging tech in paid media and social marketing.


What You Bring to the Table:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a digital agency, specializing in paid media and/or social media. (Applications without this experience will not be considered.)
  • Proven expertise in managing paid ad campaigns across multiple platforms, from setup to optimisation and reporting.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other ad platforms.
  • Experience managing organic social media growth, content strategies, and audience engagement.
  • Ability to interpret data and metrics to refine campaigns and drive performance improvements.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools like Google Analytics, Agency Analytics, SEO tools, and social media scheduling platforms.
  • Strong understanding of AI-driven marketing technologies or a passion for learning and implementing AI solutions.
  • Exceptional project management and organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for ad creatives, social media trends, and audience psychology.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain performance insights and strategies to clients.
