Cloud Engineer in United States

Founded over 40 years ago, this research & development company in Southern NH has produced industry-leading technologies and inventions across the manufacturing, 3D printing, mobility, fluid management, and medical device spaces. They are about to release 3-4 products and are looking to hire a Cloud Operations Engineer who will be assessing and improving the cloud environment. They use AWS and have a relatively built out environment - they use Docker and Kubernetes for CI/CD pipelines and Terraform/Helm for Infrastructure as Code. They're looking for someone who is more on the Ops side - someone who can respond to and evaluate cybersecurity vulnerabilities, monitor health of application and infrastructure along with incident management.

This position is full time, direct hire and onsite 5 days a week with hybrid flexibility after onboarding.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of in depth experience working in an AWS cloud environment
• Deep understanding of best practices around Infrastructure as Code
• Deep understanding of best practices around incident management, application monitoring and cybersecurity

Bonus Skills

• Hands-on experience supporting large-scale cloud-native applications (i.e. a few hundred thousand connected systems)
• Past technical leadership experience or a desire to lead other engineers
