About the RoleWe are looking for a Junior QA Tester to join our growing quality assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start or grow a career in software testing. You’ll work closely with our development and product teams to help ensure our applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
As a Junior QA Tester, you’ll learn industry-standard testing practices, gain hands-on experience with QA tools, and play a key role in improving user experience.
Key Responsibilities- Execute test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools such as Jira.
- Perform manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and releases.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand feature requirements and expected outcomes.
- Re-test resolved issues and verify bug fixes.
- Assist in writing clear, repeatable, and effective test cases.
- Support regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles.
- Learn and gradually contribute to test automation efforts.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of software development and QA concepts.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with QA or bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, TestRail) is a plus.
- Experience with testing web or mobile applications is preferred but not required.
Nice-to-Have Skills- Basic understanding of SQL, Postman, or API testing.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
